In Eugene, Saturday evening, October 9, at the Lutheran parsonage, Edna Sylvester of Springfield and Harold Ellefson of Eugene were married. Miss Sylvester is well known in this city, having been a student of the high school two years. SHe is a sister of Charley Sylvester and has been living east of town. Mr. Ellefson has a position with the Ludford Paint company of Eugene. The young people began housekeeping immediately in the home prepared by the groom.

Services for Edna M. Ellefson, 80, 29-year resident of the Florence area who died July 15 in Portland, were held July 17 at Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Jasper. She was born Nov. 28, 1895, in Jasper. The Rev. J. Milton Griamrood of the Resurrection Lutheran Church of Springfield officiated.
Mrs. Ellefson is survived by her widower, Harold; sons, John of North Bend and Harold of Portland; daughter, Phyllis Wilson of Portland; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mr. Ellefson was born June 21, 1891 in Eau Clair, Wis., and died Nov. 22 in Portland.
He was a member of the Lutheran Church, Sons of Norway and was the first ranger at the Boy Scout Camp on Siltcoos Lake.
Survivors include his sons, John of North Bend, Harold of Portland; daughter, Phyllis Wilson of Portland; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna, in July of 1976.
