Producer Marries Coed From Georgia in Raleigh

Raleigh (AP).—Marilyn Elwell, 20, until recently a senior at the University of Georgia, last night was married in a civil ceremony here in Wake County Courthouse to Hunt Stromberg Jr., 23, New York theatrical producer.

The five-minute ceremony was performed by Henry A. Bland, justice of the peace, in the office of the register of deeds. The couple left immediately after by plane for New York, N. Y.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Nels Jacobson of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Watson Elwell of Minneapolis, Minn. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hunt Stromberg of Holmby Hills, Calif.

The bridegroom is co-producer of "The Red Mill," now showing on Broadway; "Laura," and "Front Page." Rehearsals start today for his latest show, "three Indelicate Ladies."

Marilyn (Elwell) Stephen 93.

Was born with her twin sister Marjorie on the 4th of July 1926 Mankato, Minnesota. Her family moved to Ft. Lauderdale in 1932 where she remained a lifelong resident. Marilyn attended Fort Lauderdale High School and graduated in 1943. She then attended Sullins College in Bristol, Virginia, she also attended and graduated from the University of Georgia at Athens.

She was a member of the Chi Omega Fraternity, and had many lifelong friends. She was a Deputy Clerk, Civil Appeals Broward County and retired in 1996 after 25 years of service.

She was the Beloved mother of two daughters. She is survived by five grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 5 nieces, and 1 nephew.

Marilyn passed away peacefully at home and is finally reunited with her twin Marge, her brothers John & Tom, and her children Barbara & Lilly Margaret, and so many friends and loved ones who passed before her. She will be sadly missed.9920
