Thomas S. Elwell

STUART — Thomas S. Elwell, 70, of Stuart died Friday, March 13, in Martin Memorial Hospital.

A native of Minneapolis, he lived in Stuart 15 years. He moved here from Palma de Mallorca, Spain.

He attended the Universities of Indiana and California.

During World II, he was a pilot and flight instructor in the U.S. Navy.

Before retiring, he was a stock broker with Bache & Co. in New York City for 20 years.

Survivors include his wife, Constance Elwell of Stuart; a son, Robert Elliot of St. Lucia, British West Indies; a daughter, Joan Elliot Terry of Stuart; a brother, John Elwell of Fort Lauderdale; two sisters, Marilyn Stevens of Fort Lauderdale and Marjorie McGowan of Forest Lake, Minn.; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Aycock Funeral Home, Stuart.

CONSTANCE B. ELWELL

Constance B. Elwell, 94 of Stuart, FL, died Wednesday, October 1, 2003 in Stuart, FL.

She was born in Boston, MA and lived in Palma de Mallorca, Spain for 30 years before moving to Stuart, FL where she lived for the past 25 years. She was a homemaker.

She graduated from Wellesley College in Wellesley, MA in 1932.

She was of the Episcopalian faith.

Survivors include her daughter, Joan Terry of Stuart; son, Robert Elliot of St. Lucia, West Indies; grandchildren, Michelle, Tracy and Alison of West Indies, Louisa of Key Biscayne and Beth of Marbella, Spain; and 8 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husbands Robert L. Elliot and Thomas S. Elwell.
