MARJORIE ELWELL, daughter of MARGARET SHERK and WATSON RICKARD ELWELL, was born July 4, 1926 in Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota,^{74, 456} and died August 29, 1994 in Ramsey County, Minnesota.⁷⁴ She is buried in Scandinavian Cemetery, Forest Lake, Washington, Minnesota.⁴⁵⁶

She married (1) JOHN AUGUSTUS DOYLE on August 28, 1947 in Atlanta, Fulton, Georgia.¹⁰⁸⁸⁶

She married (2) RICHARD DEAN MCGOWAN on June 29, 1959 in Anoka County, Minnesota.²⁰²⁴ He was born September 18, 1929 in Reeder Township, Adams, North Dakota,⁴⁵⁶ and died July 12, 1992 in Washington County, Minnesota.⁴⁵⁶ He is buried in Scandinavian Cemetery, Forest Lake, Washington, Minnesota.⁴⁵⁶

Honoring Miss Marjorie Elwell, bride-elect of John A. Doyle of Atlanta, Ga., Mrs. William Burke entertained Saturday with a bridge party and shower at her home, N. E. 16th ter.

Marriage of Miss Elwell, daughter of Mrs. Nels Jacobson, 1117 Cordova rd., and Mr. Doyle, son of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Doyle, jr., will take place Aug. 28 in Atlanta.

Among the shower guests were Mrs. Mary Bertha Taylor, Mrs. Sam Shireman, Mrs. Thomas Gavin, Mrs. Lowell Bair, Miss Lucinda Lippard, Mrs. Johnny Elwell, Miss Lorraine Smith, Mrs. Edgar Gould, Miss Connie Davis, Miss Barbara Baker, Miss Candy Crim and Mrs. Marilyn Stromberg.

Lauderdale, FL, and brother, John Elwell, Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Memorial service 2 pm Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Stillwater. Private family interment at Scandinavian Cemetery, Forest Lake. Memorials preferred.
