Miss Margaret Anne Haymaker wore at her wedding today to Eugene Edward Ervin in St. Paul's Episcopal Church a pearl and ruby locket which fell from a ruby and gold chain. The locket belonged to her great-grandmother and the chain to her grandmother.
A white Chantilly lace gown was worn by the bride while her attendants wore gowns of aquamarine nylon net over taffeta with the bouffant skirts of net highlighted with a layer of lace. Lace also fashioned the matching stoles worn over the strapless bodice of the gowns.
Mrs. Ervin's gown featured a molded bodice with a romance neckline outlined with scallops of lace that extended into the bouffant lace skirt. Her veil of illusion showered from a Chantilly lace portrait bonnet accented with lilies of the valley.
The bride's French nosegay of stephanotis, carnation petals, fleur de amour white roses and lily of the valley complemented the muff of purple asters, and sweetheart roses carried by the matron of honor while the maid of honor carried a muff of orchid pompons and sweetheart roses. The bridesmaids carried muffs of pink flowers.
Miss Madalyn J. Pinnick and Mrs. Allan H. Warne Jr. served as the honor attendants for the bride who is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Oglesby Haymaker, 3612 Forest Manor. Miss Joanne Secrist, Cromwell, and Miss Marilyn A. Ervin, of Richmond, sister of the bride-groom, were the bridesmaids. Sharon Elizabeth Ervin was flower girl.
Mr. Ervin, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Ervin, Richmond, had Robert M. Chellis of West Manchester, O., for his best man. Robert L. Haymaker, brother of the bride, Allan H. Warne Jr., and Mark J. Orelup, Danville, seated the guests.
After the reception at the Marott Hotel the couple left on a motor trip to Miami Beach, Fla.
