Harry L. Ervin

Harry Lyell Ervin, 67, 14 Clifton Drive, Spring Grove, Richmond, died at Reid Memorial Hospital Saturday evening. He was retired in 1958 from Dana Corp. where he had worked 15 years.

He had lived in Richmond since 1927, coming to that place from Campbellstown, where he was born. He was a member of Earlham Heights Presbyterian Church and Webb Lodge No. 24, F&AM.

Survivors include the widow, Eileen; two daughters, Mrs. Marilyn A. Russo of Anderson, Ind., and Mrs. Sharon E. Shuman of Indiana; one son, Eugene E. of Indianapolis; five sisters, Mrs. Lora Benham of Richmond, Mrs. Mildred House of San Bernardino, Calif., Mrs. Mae Borradalle of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Pauline Wolfe of Brookville, and Mrs. Louise Brown of West Manchester, and two grandchildren.

Services for Mr. Ervin were held Tuesday from Stegall-Berhuide-Orr Funeral Home with burial in Twin Creek Chapel Cemetery at West Manchester. Rev. John R. Stahlman officiated.

Mrs. Eileen S. Ervin, 74, of 14 Clifton Drive, Richmond, Ind., died unexpectedly Saturday at her home of natural causes.

A native of West Manchester, she had lived in Richmond since 1926, moving there from Campbellstown.

Surviving are two daughters, Marilyn Russo of Anderson, Ind., and Sharon E. Shuman of West Lafayette, Ind.; one son, Eugene E. Ervin of Indianapolis, Ind.; two brothers, Rolland B. Smith of Dayton and O. Winfield Smith of West Manchester; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Erwin will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday (today) at the Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home, Richmond, with the Rev. Steven L. Harberts, officiating. Burial will be in Twin Creek Chapel Cemetery near West Manchester.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Audubon Society or the Heart Fund.
