MISS MARGARET W. ERVINE

STAUNTON, VA., April 26—Funeral services for Miss Margaret Weir Ervine, 73, who died Saturday at "Glenwood," the family homestead near Fairfield, was held from the residence Sunday afternoon at 5 o'clock. Miss Ervine was the eldest daughter of John Hamilton Ervine and Ellen Jane Weir, a native of Rockingham County, but who came to this county with her parents at the beginning of the War Between the States. She is survived by one brother, John Wier Ervine, and three sisters, Miss Hope Ervine, Miss Bess Ervine, and Mrs. David J. Whipple; also a niece, Miss Faith Thompson, who the sisters raised.
