Mrs. Ira J. Donald announced the secret marriage of her sister, Miss Margaret Eubank to Thomas Foster, now of Chicago, but former residents of Cayuga.
The single ring ceremony was performed July 28 in the Chapel of the Hyde Park Episcopal Church. Attendants were the bride's sister, Miss Jeanne Eubank, Max Harvey, Mrs. Harvey and Dennis McCouch.
Mrs. Foster wore a complete white ensemble and wore a corsage of pink roses and lilies of the valley. Miss Eubank wore pink lace and Mrs. Harvey was attired in blue chiffon with white accessories and carried gardenias.
Mr. and Mrs. Foster graduated from the Cayuga high school with the class of '37 and since that time have been employed in Chicago. Mrs. Foster is employed with the F. W. Woolworth Company and Mrs. Foster is freight auditor for the Container Corporation of America.
The young couple enjoyed a short wedding trip to Indianapolis. After September 1, they will be at home to their friends at 6732 Perry Ave., Chicago.

BLOOMINGTON — Margaret Elaine Foster, 93, Bloomington, died at 11:25 p.m. Wednesday (Feb. 6, 2013) at Heritage Health, Bloomington.
Cremation rites have been accorded. No services are planned. Carmody-Flynn Williamsburg Funeral Home, Bloomington, is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Advocate Hospice.
She was born Dec. 3, 1919, in Tangier, Ind., the daughter of John Howard and Mary Ruby Caplinger Ewbank. She married Thomas Winston Foster on July 28, 1939, in Chicago. He died Nov. 19, 1989.
Surviving are a son, John (Fay) Foster, Bloomington; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two children and two grandchildren.
Margaret was a gracious woman who never knew a stranger. Her sense of humor was appreciated by all who knew her. She was a homemaker and a longtime active member in the Church of the Nazarene in Chicago; Palo Alto, Calif.; and Medford, Ore. Margaret was an avid sports fan, especially cheering for the Stanford football team. She was also a tremendous fan of any sport that her grandchildren participated in.
Her greatest joys were her husband, children and grandchildren. Her wonderful spirit will be missed by her family and all who knew her.
Margaret's family would like to extend their gratitude to Heritage Health in Bloomington and Advocate Hospice for the loving care they provided to Margaret.
