Funeral services for Frederick Fuhrmann, 56, of 260 Reserve R., West Seneca, a cattle salesman and former head of the Fuhrmann Packing Co. here, will be held at 2 Saturday afternoon in the Fontaine Funeral Home, 18 Chassin Ave., Eggertsville. The burial will take place in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
A native of Buffalo, Mr. Fuhrmann was the son of Louis P. Fuhrmann, mayor of Buffalo from 1910 to 1917. He died Tuesday in Mayville. For the past six years he was a sales representative for the Stacy Commission Co.
Mr. Fuhrmann managed the Fuhrmann Packing Co. at 1010 Clinton St. for many years before disposing of the business in the '40s. He is survived by his wife, the former Almira Smith; a son, Lewis P., of Syracuse; a brother, Philip, and a sister, Mrs. Dorothy F. Brayer.

MELBOURNE — Almira H. Fuhrmann, 85, a retired registered nurse, died Thursday, May 30, at Medic-Home Health Center.
Mrs. Fuhrmann was born in Little Valley, N.Y. She moved to Brevard County in 1986 from Lantana.
A veteran of World War II, Mrs. Fuhrmann was a captain in the Army Nurse Corps and served in New Guinea, the southern Philippines and Luzo. She received numerous decorations and citations, including the American Campaign Medal, Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal, Philippine Defense Medal and Philippine Liberation Medal.
Survivors include her sister, Josephine Sommerville of West Seneca, N.Y.; and nephew, Richard Storum of Melbourne.
No calling hours are scheduled. Private graveside services will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. Davis Funeral Home in Melbourne is in charge of arrangements.
