Mrs. Jenny Winquist Smith, 52, who suffered a fatal heart attach Sunday, at the family's winter home in Riviera Beach, Florida, was brought back to Little Valley this afternoon for funeral services Friday.
Born in Salamanca, Mrs. Smith had lived in Little Valley for 30 years, having moved from Bradford, Pa. She and her husband owned and operated the Smith Hotel, now Milks Hotel, in the county seat, for years.
Surviving are her husband, Charles S. Smith, who owned and drove harness race horses several years, and, who lives on the New Albion Road; a son, James Smith, of Riviera Beach; brother, Arthur Winquist, Killbuck; five sisters, Mrs. Fred Weldy of Jamestown; Mrs. Harry W. Dennis, West Palm Beach, Fla.; Mrs. Joe Warner, Mobile, Ala.; Mrs. Carrie Ochs of Little Valley, and Mrs. O. S. Hannum of Bradford.
A brief prayer service will be held in the Van Rensselaer Funeral Home, Friday morning at 8:30, following by a Mass at 9 in St. Mary's church. Rev. Joseph P. Friel will officiate with burial in the Rural Cemetery.

LITTLE VALLEY — Charles S. Smith, 61, of Toad Hollow Road, a former hotel operator here, collapsed and died Tuesday (May 28, 1963) in the office of Bert Campbell, 107 Park Place, a real estate dealer.
Mr. Smith operated the former Whitney Hotel for about 20 years, leaving it in 1948 to operate a dairy farm near Little Valley. He returned from the farm in 1958 due to ill health.
He is survived by a son, Charles J. Smith, Riviera Beach, Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. Ella Storum, Orlando, Fla.; Mrs. Almira Fuhrmann, Boynton Beach, Fla.; and Mrs. Josephine Summerville, Buffalo; and one grandson.
A prayer service at 10 a.m. Friday in Van Rensselaer's Funeral Home, 411 Rock City St., will precede a Requiem Mass in St. Mary's Church. Burial will be in Rural Cemetery.
