At St. Patrick's rectory Monday morning William Gallagher and Miss Genevieve Crawford of this village were united in marriage. In spite of efforts to keep the hour of the ceremony a secret they were met at the train as they left for their honeymoon by many friends and their departure was the signal for copious showers of rice. Mr. Gallagher is a junior member of the firm of Barber & Gallagher, druggists, of this village. His bride is one of East Randolph's social leaders and a young woman who has attained much popularity in this vicinity.

Genevieve C. Gallagher, Widow Of Local Businessman, Dies

Mrs. Genevieve C. Gallagher, 86, of 150 Main Street, died at her home at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, 1967, following a long illness.

She was the widow of William E. Gallagher, a prominent Randolph businessman,who owned and operated Gallagher's Drug Store here from 1912 to 1962. Mr. Gallagher died Oct. 17, 1962.

Born in Napoli Nov. 16, 1880, she was the daughter of Daniel and Mary Jane McCollister Crawford.

She married Mr. Gallagher on Aug. 31, 1908 and the moved from East Randolph to Randolph in 1912. This has been her home since that time.

Prior to her marriage she taught school in East Randolph. For many years she operated a gift shop in conjunction with her husband's drug store.

She was a member of St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church and of its Altar and Rosary Society.

She is survived by on daughter, Mrs. Catherine McLarney of Randolph; one grandson, William McLarney of Ann Arbor, Mich.; two nephews, James Gallagher of Norwich and Joseph Gallagher of Ithaca, and a cousin, Mrs. Lewis Learn of Frewsburg.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church with the Rev. Francis Gardner as celebrant of
