GUNTHER-STANLEY

At the home of Mr. and Mrs. Adelbert Stanley Wednesday afternoon at four o'clock occurred the very pretty wedding of their daughter, Miss Lucille to Mr. Fred Gunther, the Rev. L. E. Snapp, pastor of the Christian church, officiating. After an instrumental solo played by the groom's sister, she played the wedding march by Lohengrin, while the bride and groom preceded by the minister, marched to their places, in front of the bower prepared fro the occasion. The bride wore georgette crepe over white satin and carried a shower bouquet of roses. Only the immediate relatives were present. After congratulations, pun, ice cream and cake were served. The happy couple left immediately by auto for Estes park where they spend a two week's honeymoon, after which they will be at home in Geneva, where the groom is manager of the Public Service Co., of Geneva and Exeter. Mr. Gunther is an electrical engineering graduate of the state university, class of 1914, and a member of Sigma Tau and Acacia fraternities of that institution. The bride graduated from the Ashland high school in 1912 and from the Nebraska university in 1916. The past year she has taught sciences in the Geneva high school. Our best wishes go with these accomplished, industrious and respected young people.
