MRS. NETTIE L. HALL

WEST LEBANON, Dec. 21.—(Special)—Mrs. Nettie Leona Hall, 68, wife of Isaac Hall, druggist, died at the family home last night at 9:15 o'clock. Native of Warren county, she was prominent in civic and church affairs, being a member of the local Christian church, the Busy Bee society and the local chapter O. E. S. She married Isaac Hall, Aug. 30, 1890; who survives with four children: Mrs. Zola Hamilton and Mrs. Gladys Johnson, this city; Mrs. Irene Crone, Williamsport, and Mrs. Madeline Astell, at home. A brother, Ellwood Williams, St. Joseph, Mo., also survives. The body was taken to the Hamilton and Son funeral home, and funeral services will be held from the Christian church at 2;30 o'clock Friday afternoon, with Rev. Louis Hotaling, assisted by Rev. Dale Wilholt, officiating; interment in West Lebanon cemetery.

Isaac Hall Dead At West Lebanon

WEST LEBANON, May 1.—Isaac (Ike) Lilbun Hall, 74, died Sunday at 8 p. m. at Lake View hospital, Danville, Ill. Born south of West Lebanon, as a young man he taught school in this community. He entered the drug business 48 years ago, retiring four years ago. He was a member of the Christian church, where he taught a Sunday school class for over thirty years. He resigned recently as president of the West Lebanon Building and Loan association, after serving in that office for 30 years. He also was president of the library board since 1916. August 30, 1890, he married Mettie Leona Williams, who died in 1938.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Earl Hamilton, Mrs. James Johnston and Mrs. Wilbur Astel, of West Lebanon, and Mrs. John D. Crone, DePere, Wis., also a brother, Harvey H. Hall, of this city. Body at family residence after Monday evening. Funeral Wednesday at 2;30 p. m. Christian church, E. A. Hamilton, funeral director in charge; body to lie in state at the church an hour before the service.

MRS. GLADYS JOHNSTON

WEST LEBANON — Mrs. Gladys R. Johnston, 75, of Box 11, died at 2:45 p.m. (CST) Monday in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Danville, Ill. She had been ill a week.

Mrs. Johnston, the former Gladys Hall, was born and lived all her life in Warren County. She was married in 1926 in Paris, Ill., to James E. Johnston, who preceded her in death. She was member of the West Lebanon Christian Church.

Surviving are two sons, James N. of Rt. 2, Covington, and William G. of Pittsburg, Pa.; a daughter, Mrs. Roy Byram of West Chicago, Ill.; and three sisters, Mrs. earl Hamilton of West Lebanon, Mrs. John E. Crone of Fort Meyer, Fla., and Mrs. Russell Bacon of West Palm Beach, Fla.
