Letters from Miss Vannie Hall state that they have reached Eau Claire, Wis., where they were resting with relatives previous to going on to Roxford, Dakota. The young people are highly pleased with their journey up to the date of writing.

Word has been received here of the death December 29 of Miss Vannie A. Hall of New Rockford, N. D., a native of East Randolph. Miss Hall lacked a week of reaching her ninetieth birthday.
The daughter of Horace Hall, Jr., and Caroline Benson Hall, Miss Hall was a graduate of Chamberlain Institute, Randolph. At New Rockford she was active in several social and political circles. She was a member of the Congregational church and was, for many years, city librarian.
Surviving is one brother, H. Clyde Hall of New Rockford and several nieces and nephews, two of whom, Mrs. William Wheelock of Kennedy and E. Lloyd Hall of Salamanca, reside in this vicinity. Burial was in New Rockford.
