BIRTHDAY OF H. D. WATERS IS CELEBRATED BY FAMILY AT WHEELOCK'S CHIC INN

KENNEDY—Mrs. William D. Wheelock of Kennedy, Mrs. W. J. Case of Bolivar and F. Coy Waters of Jamestown, entertained at dinner Tuesday at the Chic Inn in honor of the 85th birthday of their father, H. D. Waters of 112 Hali avenue, Jamestown. Besides the children the guests included Mrs. H. D. Waters, their mother and Mrs. Wheelock of Kennedy, W. J. Case, Bolivar and Mrs. F. Coy Waters of Jamestown and the grandchildren of the honor guest, Arthur Wheelock of Kennedy, Mr. and Mrs. Karl Hills and Miss Jane Case of Boliver, Miss Rea Waters, Jamestown, and a friend, Miss Grace Wheelock, of Jamestown.

Following the dinner a social afternoon was enjoyed. The guests presented their gifts with original poetry, Miss Rea Waters receiving credit for the best presentation. Gifts of flowers and also a purse of money was given Mr. Waters. The decorations were in keeping with Halloween and the birthday cake was made and presented by Mrs. W. J. Case.

Henry D. Waters, Jamestown, Dies At Bolivar Home

BOLIVAR — Henry D. Waters, Jamestown, passed away early this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W. J. Case, Bolivar, after a long illness. He was a native of New Albion, born there October 25, 1853.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. India Waters, two daughters, Mrs. William D. Wheelock of Kennedy, NY, and Mrs. Case; a son, F. C. Waters, Jamestown; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The funeral service will be conducted at two-thirty o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Holtink Funeral Parlors. Burial will be in East Randolph Cemetery.
