Kennedy, July 1.—A wedding took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. L. F. Weeden Tuesday noon, when their niece, Miss Caroline Louis Waters of Jamestown, became the wife of William D. Wheelock of Kennedy. Only the immediate relatives of the bride and bridegroom were present.
The gathering was charmingly informal, the bride receiving the guests on their arrival, and at the appointed hour, the couple stepped in front of a bank of ferns and white daisies flanked by pedestals of roses, and was united in wedlock by Rev. E. S. Way. Miss Grace Wheelock at the piano and Coy Waters of Little Valley with violin, discoursed delightful music during the congratulations.
A four course wedding breakfast followed, the table decorations being white and green. Many beautiful presents—solid silver, cut glass and money—were received by the young couple. The bride is a graduate of the Columbia School of Music, Chicago, and is a charming and accomplished young lady. She has taught music in Falconer and Lakewood High schools. The bridegroom is a graduate of Jamestown High school, 1901, and later of Cornell Agriculture college. THey will be at home to their friends after the middle of July.
