Heart Attack Takes Mrs. Ruth A. Hansen

Collapsing as she was walking from her home to the South Side library, Mrs. Ruth A. Hansen, 54, died Saturday evening.

Mrs. Hansen was found lying in the 1100 block on Donovan Ave. about 6:45 p. m. Northern ambulance, called by an unidentified passerby, rushed her to St. Joseph's Hospital, but she was dead on arrival.

The husband, Roy Hansen, told Police Officers Ed Brown and Cliff Bullard his wife had left their home at 614 Donovan Ave. shortly before, to return some books to the library. The books were found with her. Death was unofficially listed as due to a heart attack, pending a report by Coroner August Zoet.

She is survived by her husband, Roy; three sons, Douglas C., of Winslow; Joseph G., of San Anselmo, Calif., and Alister M., city; three brothers, Douglas McLennan and Gail McLennan, of Port Angeles, and Ross, of Alberta, Canada; three sisters, Mrs. A. Danna, of Alberta, and Mrs. Constance Jylha and Mrs. Charles Greer, of Lewiston, Idaho.

Funeral arrangements will be made by Harlow-Hollingsworth.
