Mrs. Cora Helena Lyons, wife of Bert Lyons, of 629 Georgiana street, died tuesday afternoon at a local hospital.
Mrs. Lyons was born in Monroe, Iowa, February 14, 1869. After residing in Bellingham for 18 years, she came to Port Angeles 16 years ago and has made her home here ever since. She was married to Mr. Lyons 18years ago.
Surviving Mrs. Lyons are her husband and eight children by a former marriage: Hugh C. McLennan, Seattle; Margaret Dana, Goodwin, Alberta; Douglas McLennan, Port Angeles; Constance Taft, Tigton, Wash.; Ruth Hansen, South Bellingham; Ross McLennan, Watina, Alberta; Gail McLennan, Port Angeles and Virginia Sherrill, Port Angeles. there are two sisters, Sue McLennan of Escondido, California, and Theodora Eisert, Everson, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held from the Christman Mortuary Friday at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Joseph H. Beall of the First Methodist Church officiating. Interment is to be at Mount Angeles Cemetery. The Eagles' Lodge is furnishing pallbearers from its membership.

Herbert Lyons, 72, veteran Port Angeles printer, died Friday evening following a short illness.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Harper Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mount Angeles Cemetery.
Mr. Lyons was born July 15, 1877 at Eau Claire, Wisc., and came to Port Angeles about 40 years ago. He operated a commercial printing establishment here over a long period of years. Following the death of his wife, Mrs. Cora Lyons, in 1936, he retired from business and since has been a caretaker of homes at Lake Crescent.
Mr. Lyons has no known surviving relatives.
