DANA - David Leslie Dana passed away May 27, 1973 at Grande Prairie at the age of 83 years.

He was born at Parsons, Kansas and has resided in the Grande Prairie and Debolt districts.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife Margaret, 3 sons Thomas, Debolt, Carroll, Frobisher Bay, N.W.T., Gene, Debolt, Mrs. Peggy Doerkson, Grande Prairie, 12 grandchildren and 19 greatgrandchildren. Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Thursday, May 30 at 3:30 p.m. from the Debolt United Church with Rev. W. Lovely officiating. Interment followed in the Goodwin Cemetery. Arrangements were by the Oliver Funeral Home.

MARGARET C. DANA

Mrs. Margaret C. Dana passed away at the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital, Grande Prairie, Alberta on Monday, October 3, 1988, at the age of 94.

She was born in Great Falls, Montana, U.S.A. on March 12, 1894, and had been a resident of DeBolt since 1919.

She is survived by her son Gene (Grace) Dana of DeBolt; daughter Peggy (Ike) Doerkson of Blind Bay, B.C.; 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Dana was predeceased by her husband David in 1973, and by 2 sons, Thomas and Carroll.

There will be no funeral service at the request of Mrs. Dana. Cremation will take place at the Oliver Crematorium, and cremains will be interred in her father's grave on the banks of the Smoky River.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Oliver Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, Grande Prairie, Alberta.
