He married HANNAH SUTHERLAND on December 27, 1832 in Chittenango, Madison, New York,⁸³⁴⁷ daughter of JERUSHA STANLEY and JOHN WILLIAM SUTHERLAND. She was born September 12, 1795 in Proctor, Rutland, Vermont,^{4799, 456} and died February 5, 1882.⁴⁸¹³ She is buried in Gap Cemetery, Albany, Green, Wisconsin.⁴⁵⁶
