William Edwin Hill, who was in the furniture business on Elk street for seven or eight years, passed away last Friday at his home, 719 Virginia street, at the age of 68 years. Diabetes was the cause of death. Mr. Hill came here about ten years ago from North Yakima. After quitting the furniture business three years ago he purchased a small herd of ostriches and kept them on a farm near Silver Ranch. He had been ill for some time prior to his death and had not been in business since he disposed of his ostriches. Funeral arrangements have not yet been made, but it is known the remains will be shipped to North Yakima for interment. Mr. Hill is survived by two sons, H. James, of San Francisco, who arrived here yesterday, and Ralph S., of Zillah, Wash., and by a brother whose home is at North Yakima.
