CLEONA ADELAIDE HILLS, daughter of MARY JERUSHA COLTON and NELSON HILLS, was born August 16, 1844 in Polk County, Wisconsin,^{6960, 456} and died January 5, 1915 in Seattle, King, Washington.³⁶⁶¹ She is buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Hayward, Sawyer, Wisconsin.⁴⁵⁶

She married PHILIP BEAL. He was born November 26, 1836 in Southampton Township, Somerset, Pennsylvania,^{456, 3661} and died October 26, 1910 in Bellingham, Whatcom, Washington.^{456, 3661} He is buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Hayward, Sawyer, Wisconsin.⁴⁵⁶

FUNERAL NOTICE

BEAL—The funeral service for Mr. Philip Beal, who died Wednesday, October 26, at the family residence, 2324 Williams street, aged 78 years, will be held Saturday, October 29, from the funeral parlors of Undertaker Harry O. Bingham, 1319 Dock street, at 2:30 p. m., Rev. A. W. Cheatham, pastor of St. Paul's Episcopal church, officiating. Mr. Beal has been a resident of Bellingham for two years. The surviving relatives are: Wife, four sons and four daughters—Clayton Beal, residing at North Yakima, Wash; Edwin N. and Harley, Bellingham, and Elmer F., of Maple Falls, Wash. The four daughters all reside in Eastern cities. One grand-daughter, Miss Florence Connell, who has made her home with grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Beal, since childhood and is one of the instructors of the Bellingham public schools. After the conclusion of the funeral service, the remains of Mr. Beal will lie in State until some date in the near future, then to be taken to Hayward, Wis., where interment will be made in the family plot. Mrs. Beal expects to accompany the remains.
