HOSKINS-HOUSTON

The home of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Burwell on Wednesday evening, May 20th, was the scene of a very pretty home wedding, their niece, Miss Eda Hoskins being married to Mr. Roy E. Houston, who is one of our best Clarinda boys. To the tune of Lohengrin's wedding march, played by Irene Burwell, the couple took their place in the front room, decorated in white with snowballs and bridal wreaths, when Rev. William H. Wilson, by means of the ring service, pronounced them man and wife. About thirty-five guests enjoyed the bridal supper. The young couple are taking charge of the Chas. Houston farm north of town, which will be their home, enabling Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Houston to move to town for a year or two.
