HUSTON-KUNTZ

Estes A. Huston and Miss Lena Kuntz were married in Los Angeles on Tuesday evening and have left for Portland, Ore., for a short bridal trip. They will probably make their home at Portland.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kuntz of South Garey avenue.

The groom came to Pomona a few years ago from Missouri. He is a nephew of Mrs. Katherine Hummel.

MRS. LENA HUSTON

Mrs. Lena Huston, wife of E. A. Huston, of Huntington Beach, Calif., formerly of Pomona, passed away in the St. Joseph's hospital in Santa Ana Wednesday afternoon at 4:20 o'clock.

Mrs. Huston was born January 31, 1884, in Montrose, Mo. She came to California with her parents while a baby and made her home in Pomona and vicinity, prior to moving to Huntington Beach last December.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Huston is survived by a son, Charles E. Huston of San Marino; two brothers, Frank Kuntz of Fullerton, Otto Kuntz of Ontario; and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Hyle, Rockville, Mo.; Dr. Olive Gilliam, professor of history at San Jose State college, and Miss Henrietta Kuntz of Pomona. There also are three grandchildren, Mervin, Kenneth and Charlene Huston.

Funeral services will be held in the Todd Memorial chapel Saturday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment will be made in Pomona cemetery.

E. A. Huston

E. A. Huston of Huntington Beach, Calif., formerly for many years a resident of Chino, passed away in Santa Ana Community hospital at 6 o'clock Friday evening, following a long period of failing health.

Mr. Huston was born October 11, 1887, in Montrose, Mo. He came to California in 1906 and lived on Central avenue in Chino for 41 years, moving to Huntington Beach three years ago when he retired from citrus growing. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias.

Besides his wife, Mrs. Bernice Huston, he is survived by a son, Charles Huston of Imperial Valley; his mother, Mrs. Nevada Huston of Pomona; and three brothers, O. E. Huston and W. E. Huston, both of Pomona, and M. R. Huston of San Marino, Calif. There also are three grandchildren, Wayne, Kenneth and Charlene Huston, all of Imperial Valley.

Funeral services will be held in Todd Memorial North chapel at 1:30 o'clock Monday afternoon. Interment will be made in Pomona Cemetery.
