EDWARD A. HUSTON

Edward A. Huston passed away at the family home, 214 E. Center street Friday evening at 10:30 o'clock after a long period of illness.

Mr. Huston was born May 23, 1861 near Springfield, Ill. He was married to Miss Nevada M. Hummel at Montrose, Ill., October 14, 1883 and they celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary last October. He and his wife and family came to California from Montrose in 1910 and settled in Walnut. They resided there for ten years and then moved to Pomona which city has been their home since. He was a member of the United Brethren church, Pomona.

Mr. Huston is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nevada M. Huston, four sons, Orva Huston, Pomona; Ester A. Huston, Chino; Miller R. Huston, San Marino; W. Edwin Huston, Pasadena; one brother, Alvin A. Huston, Blackburn, Okla., and a sister, Mrs. Ida Wallace of San Bernardino. There also are two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held in the Todd Memorial chapel at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, Bishop Ira W. Warner of the United Brethren church will officiate. Interment will be made in Pomona cemetery.
