George Irvine and bride, who had been guests of the families of the groom's mother, Mrs. Helen Irvine, and brother, Ollie Irvine, have gone to St. Louis, their future home. The groom, a former Saline county man, was married three weeks ago to Miss Jessie Miller, at Liverpool, Ohio.

George Andrew Irvine passed away at Danville, Ky., at 10 o'clock this morning.
He was born in Miami, Mo., March 19, 1876. He received his grammar school and high school education in Marshall public schools. He attended Missouri University from which he received his B. S. degree in electrical engineering. After graduation he went to Crystal City, Mo., to work for the Plate Glass Company. He was sent to Granite City, Ill., to work for the Coke & Iron Company. He later worked for the Laclede Light & Power Company in St. Louis and in Oklahoma, Texas and Arkansas.
After several years he was transferred to Danville, Ky., where he worked until his health failed in January 1941.
He is survived by his wife, one son, John, and two daughters, Mrs. Joe (Helen) Davis of Danville and Madge Irvine of the home, two grandsons, William and George Irvine and the twin infants of Mrs. Davis, Helen and Joe. His only brother, Ollie Irvine, lives at 222 North Jefferson. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, W. A. and Helen Irvine, and one sister, Nannie Irvine.
He was a member of the Methodist church and Masonic Lodge.
Funeral services will be held at Danville, Ky., Friday, July 14.

DANVILLE, Ky. (Special)—George A. Irvine, 67, retired business official, died Wednesday at his residence, 354 North First street, after an illness of several years.
Mr. Irvine was district manager of the Kentucky Utilities Company from the time it assumed an earlier company here in 1924 until January, 1941, when he suffered a stroke and retired from business.
Mr. Irvine, previous to 1924, had been affiliated with the Danville Light and Power Company. He was a director of the Chamber of Commerce for a long period.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Jessie M. Irvine; two daughters, Mrs. Joe G. Davis, Danville, and Miss Madge Irvine, member of the Wac, who was not long ago assigned to Fort Des Moines, Iowa, for preliminary training after having been accepted for the Air Transport Command; a son, John Irvine, Greenup, and a brother, Ollie Irvine, Marshall, Mo.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Friday at Stith funeral home, with the Rev. Thomas J. Liggett, pastor of the First Christian church, officiating. Burial will be in Bellevue cemetery.
