George Carpenter Irvine

George Carpenter Irvine was born in DeCaleb County, Mo., June 3, 1865 and was married to Nellie Mae Cook on October 7, 1896 at Carney, Okla., and departed this life March 9, 1937.

He leaves to mourn his departure his wife, one sister, Mrs. Eva Myers of Okla. City; two brothers, Charles Irvine of Oklahoma City and Frank Irvine of Prague and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist church at Warwick on Wednesday, March 10 by Elder Cansler of Chandler. Interment was in the Christy cemetery.

Pall bearers were Geo. Sedore, Jim Boles, C. H. Thurber, Lee Cook, H. C. Irvine and C. W. Carr. Flower girls were Miss Hazel Sutton, Mrs. Robert Saulsbury, Mrs. Geo. Clapp and Mrs. Earl Salsman.
