KOPP—GREENWOOD

Emory M. Kopp, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ervin A. Kopp, Heidelberg township, and Miss Georgianna E. Greenwood, daughter of Mrs. Mary J. Greenwood, Spring Grove R. D. 1, were united in marriage at 5 o'clock on Saturday afternoon at the parsonage of the Paradise Reformed charge, Spring Grove. The ring ceremony of the Reformed Church was performed by the pastor, the Rev. E. V. Strasbaugh. The bride wore a white lace dress and white kid shoes and white gloves and hat. She carried a bouquet of bridal roses, baby's breath and ferns. The bridegroom had as his best man his brother, Raymond W. Kopp. The bridesmaid was Miss Marie E. Greenwood, a sister of the bride. The newlyweds left immediately on a wedding trip to points in Maryland. The bride is employed at the plant of the Dentists' Supply Company, York. They will live with the bride's mother, who has a 90-acre farm which the bridegroom will till.

Mrs. Emory M. Koppp

Mrs. Georgianna E. Kopp, 65, wife of Emory M. Kopp, 205 Maple Ave., died at 5:55 a.m. today at Hanover General Hospital, where she had been a patient the past six days, following an illness of seven months. Born in York, she was a daughter of the late Vernon and Mary Nash Greenwood. She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ. Surviving in addition to her husband, are a son, Vernon E. Kopp, Brodbecks RE 1; three grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Jacob Gladfelter, Jr., Thomasville RD 1; and Mrs. Raymond W. Kopp, Brodbecks RD 1. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from the Sauter Funeral Home, 175 N. Main St., Spring Rove, with Rev. Carl A. Folk officiating. Burial will be in Penn Memorial Gardens, Hanover RD3. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Emory M. Kopp

New Oxford

Emory M. Kopp of New Oxford, formerly of Hanover, died at 7:39 p.m. March 31 at The Brethren Home, New Oxford, He was 89.

Mr. Kopp had been a carpenter for many years for The Home Shop, Upperco, Md.

He was a member of Calvary Bible Church, and its Federation Men's Bible class.

Born in Iron Ridge, Aug. 29, 1907, he was the son of the late Ervin and Annie P. Chronister Kopp. He was the husband of the late Georgianna E. Greenwood Kopp who died Feb. 11, 1975.

He leaves a son, Vernon E. Kopp, Hanover; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Marie Klinedinst, Hanover; and three brothers, Norman Kopp, Colorado, Raymond Kopp, Brodbecks, and Rufus Kopp, Hanover.

Viewing is 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover. The service is 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Clair W. Shorb officiating.

Burial is in Marburg Memorial Gardens.
