Krutsch, David J. (1917 - 1990)

David J. Krutsch, 73, Granton, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 1990, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 14, 1990, at 1:30 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, Neillsville. Rev. Thomas LaChapelle officiated and burial was in the Neillsville City Cemetery. Family served as pallbearers.

David J. Krutsch was born Nov. 6, 1917, in Bellwood, Ill., to Henry and Lydia (nee Schnoll) Krutsch. He married Jean Stanley Jan. 3, 1948, in Granton. She survives. He farmed in the town of Washburn on the family farm for 45 years, retiring in 1981. He was a member of United Methodist Church, Neillsville a 4-H leader, a member of the National Guard, Neillsville Milk Products (past president), Lynn Mutual Fire Insurance Board, Clark Electric Co-op Board, Neillsville Co-op Transport Board, Washburn School Board, past Neillsville School Board member, Chairman of Washburn Zoning Advisory Board, Wisconsin Holstein Friesian Association Member, Tri-State Breeders, and past president Neillsville AARP.

Survivors include his wife four sisters, Mrs. Lydia Nupnau, Chicago, Ill. Mrs. Edith Garbisch, Beloit Mrs. Lucy Hetzel, Granton and Mrs. Gladyce Huebscher, Denver, Col. two brothers, Paul Krutsch, Bruner, Mo., and James Krutsch, Beloit and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Krutsch, Jean (March 25, 1919 - August 5, 2007)

Jean Krutsch, age 88, of Neillsville, died Sunday, August 5, 2007 at the Memorial Health and Rehabilitation Center in Neillsville, Wis.

Jean Stanley was born on March 25, 1919 at home just south of the Reed School in Neillsville, the daughter of Roy and Eva (Counsell) Stanley. She attended and graduated from Neillsville High School and later was united in marriage to David Krutsch. They farmed in the Neillsville area and Jean also worked as a legal secretary for a local attorney.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Neillsville, Wis.

Jean is survived by a sister, Ruth (Tom) Jacob, of Wausau, WI; and a brother, Allen (Lorraine) Stanley, of Marshfield.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David; and a sister, Mardine Stanley.

Funeral services for Jean will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2007 at the United Methodist Church in Neillsville, Wis. Pastor Dong Su Lee will officiate. Music will be provided by Pat Knudson, organist. Interment will be in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m., until 11 a.m., Wednesday at the Church.

The Gesche Funeral Home is assisting Jean’s family with funeral arrangements.
