He married EDNA LUCILLE MYERS. She was born February 17, 1906 in Clay County, Texas,⁴⁵⁶ and died January 11, 1998 in Lafayette, Lafayette, Louisiana.⁴⁵⁶ She is buried in Fountain Memorial Cemetery, Lafayette, Lafayette, Louisiana.⁴⁵⁶
