A wedding which will come as a surprise to many of their friends in Amarillo was that of Miss Zoe Law and Gerald Simms, which was performed Saturday morning at 9:30 o'clock at the parsonage of the First Christian church with Rev. F. W. O'Malley, pastor, officiating.
The only attendants were Miss Wilma Tull and Lane Johnson.
Mr. and Mrs. Simms left immediately for a short visit in Oklahoma, after which they will be at home in Amarillo.

Mrs. Zoe Helen Sims, 30 years old, the wife of G. F. Sims, died at the family home at 315 Florida Street at 1:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon.
Funeral services will be held at 4 o'clock this afternoon from N. B. Griggs and Sons chapel with Rev. Ferrell Fox, of the West Amarillo Christian Church, officiating. Dr. Roy C. Snodgrass, pastor of the First Christian Church, will assist in the services.
Pallbearers will be Fred Shultz, Ralph Stowell, Ed Tull, Murray Britt, Clarence Hancher, and Bill Goodson. Interment will be made in Llano Cemetery.
Besides the husband, three brothers and three sisters survive. They are Earl Law, Deming, N. M.; Carl Law, Tonkaw, Okla.; Ray Law, McLean; Mrs. Lucy Conkling and Mrs Homer Conkling, both of Amarillo; and Mrs. R. W. Thom, El Reno.
Mrs. Sims held membership in the West Amarillo Christian Church and the Royal Neighbors. She had been a resident of Amarillo 18 years.
