OBITUARY
The death of Eva Beatrice Law, daughter of Mr. J. F. Law, occurred at her home near Cushing, Okla., Saturday morning at 4 o'clock, Sept. 13, 1913, aged 16 years and 24 days.
She was born near Chandler, Okla., August 19th, 1897, in the Star Valley community, where she had lived most all her life, and her untimely death has cast a great cloud of sorrow over all.
Funeral services were conducted at the Star Valley School house Monday evening at 5 o'clock by Rev. Suitor, and she was quietly laid to rest in the Star Valley cemetery.
She was a member of Midlothian Methodist church and lived a beautiful christian life.
Eva was of a happy and lovable disposition and always brought a spirit of inspiration and happiness, wherever she went, and during her brief period of sickness the same sweet spirit of cheerfulness and hopefulness sustained her.
At school she was obedient, industrious and always thoughtful of the pleasure of others. At home the same sweet spirit of love, which most highly characterized her life abroad, was shown by her words, deeds and actions, and wherever she went she greeted her friends with a smile and we were always made happier by her presence.
The bereaved family has the heart-felt sympathy of all in this, their great sorrow.
