Houston Levers
Private memorial services for Houston Leo Levers, 59, San Francisco, were Sunday at Lakewood Baptist Church directed by Smith & Kernke Funeral Home. Levers died Nov. 28 of an accidental gunshot wound while visiting relatives in Oklahoma City.
Born in Enid, Levers attended public schools in Okmulgee, and graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor's degree in journalism. He had retired from advertising and public relations work with the J. Walter Thompson Agency in San Francisco.
Survivors include a daughter, Ms. Laura Ann Levers, Pacific Grove, Calif., and three sisters, Mrs. J.A. Williams and Mrs. Seymour Davis, both of Oklahoma City, and Mrs. Emmett Crotzer, Santa Monica, Calif.
