Very quiet, and unexpected by their many friends was the wedding of Miss Hazel Houston of this city, daughter of Judge L. N. Houston, Register of the U. S. Land Office, to Guy L. Levers, of Enid, Okla., which occurred Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the home of the brides' parents, 710 East Noble avenue. The beautiful and impressive ceremony was performed by the Rev. E. E. Fairchilds, pastor of the Methodist church, of this city. They happy couple were attended only by the bride's sister, Mrs. John P. Cook, of Enid, and the bride's brother, Mr. Harold H. Houston, of Lucien, Okla., only the immediate members of the family witnessed the ceremony. The bride, although she has lived but a short time in this city, has endeared herself to a wide circle of friends and is a most beautiful and lovable girl. THe groom is connected with the postal railway service, a prosperous gentleman of sterling qualities. The happy couple left on the evening Santa Fe for Roswell, new Mexico, from which place they will visit Colorado and other western points of interest.—Oklahoma State Capital.
