Mrs. Blanche Shepherd

Mrs. Blanche Martin Shepherd, 41 year-old former resident of Miami, died at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon in a Denver Colo., hospital following a brief illness. Mrs. Shepherd, who was born here, had lived in Miami until eight years ago.

She is survived by her mother, Mrs. A. G. Martin of Miami; two daughters, Mrs. Gene Bowyer of Oklahoma City and Mrs. Gwendolyn O'Hern of Pryor; one sister, Mrs. Nellie Scudder of Okmulgee, and one brother, Ben Martin, Miami.

The body is being returned here to the Lane Funeral home. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Funeral Rites Held For Frank Shepherd

Services were held last Sunday for Frank Shepherd, 59, of 6340 SE 15, who died last Friday in Will Rogers hospital after a long illness. Burial was in Wichita Falls, Tex.

A native of Kingfisher, Shepherd lived in Wichita Falls several years before joining the Oklahoma City police department in 1920. He resigned seven years later. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Jeanne Bowyer, 6340 SE 15.
