Richard Martin of Maud and Miss Gladys Wells of McLoud were quietly married Saturday at Shawnee. Miss Gladys is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wells who live southeast of town. She is a graduate of the McLoud high school and has taught school in the county for several years. The young couple are now on an overland trip to the Ozark mountains and other points of interest. They will return to McLoud in a fortnight to make their home.
