Word has been received from Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wells, 445 South Locust, Canby, Ore., of the celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary August 30. They were early and long time residents of the McLoud community and reared their family here.

Those who attended the open house in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Wells, who were known here, were Mr. and Mrs. Alex Traudt, Portland, Ore.; Mr. and Mrs. George J. Traudt, Donald and Wanda June, Clackamas, Wash.; mr. and Mrs. Oren H. "Doc" Wells, Oregon City, Ore.; Mr. and Mrs. L. N. Phillips, Joe and Billy, Yakima, Wash.; Mr. and Mrs. Verl B. Wells, Sellwood, Ore.; and Mr. and Mrs. Merle Gors and Jeffrey, Pendelton, Ore. The children presented their parents with a TV set.
