ANNE SAYRE MCCLUNG, daughter of HENRIETTA V. SAYRE and EDGAR RAYMOND MCCLUNG, was born July 3, 1917 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,⁵³⁶⁹ and died October 27, 1981 in Muncie, Delaware, Indiana.⁴⁹³¹ She is buried in Gardens of Memory, Muncie, Delaware, Indiana.^{4931, 456}

She married LOWELL HOWARD WAID on September 13, 1940 in Muncie, Delaware, Indiana.⁵³⁶⁹ He was born March 31, 1914 in Clark County, Ohio,⁴⁹³¹ and died March 4, 1998 in Muncie, Delaware, Indiana.⁴⁹³¹ He is buried in Gardens of Memory, Muncie, Delaware, Indiana.^{4931, 456}

Anne McClung Waid

Anne McClung Waid, 64, Cecil Road, RR 5, died early today at Ball Hospital.

Born in Philadelphia, she moved to Muncie when she was a child. She graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1936 and Ball State in 1940.

Mrs. Waid taught at Eaton High School for three years and was a librarian at the Muncie Star for several years. She was a member of High Street United Methodist Church, W.S.C.S., and was current president of Wesleyan Sunday School Class. She was also a member of Inlow Springs Home Economics Club, Mothers Study Club, and was current secretary of the Center Township Farm Bureau.

Survivors include her husband, Lowell Waid; two daughters, Mrs. Lois Ramey of Muncie and Mrs. Alice Barrett of Albany; three sons, Paul of Middletown and Dale and Lee, both of Muncie; seven grandchildren; and her brother, Raymond McClung of Florida.

Services will be held at Meeks Mortuary at 10 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Calling hours are at the mortuary from 3 to 5 and from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and before the service Friday. memorial may be sent to Delaware County Cancer Society or High Street United Methodist Church.
