James McCoy dies; 49 Years On NYC

James H. Mccoy, 2542 River Rd., retired Riverside yardmaster for the New York Central Railroad, died yesterday at St. Francis Hopsital after a two-year illness. He was 67 years old.

A native of Cincinnati, Mr. McCoy was an employee of the railroad for 49 years, all but seven of them as yardmaster.

Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Mary Florence McCoy; five daughters, Mrs. Martha O'Brien, wife of Detective James O'Brien; Mrs. Mary Weber; Mrs. Frances Heekin, Mrs. Shirley Abel and Mrs. Marguerite Bruner; five sons, James, John H., Robert W., Thomas E. and George B. McCoy; four sisters, Mrs. Nell Dewar, Mrs. Ann Duffy, Mrs. Martha Schorr and Mrs. Clara Fisher; a brother, William, and 33 grandchildren.

Requiem High Mass will be sung Friday at 9 a. m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Sedamsville. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Enright Avenue.
