MRS. IRENE McKEE DIES AT BANGOR

BANGOR, Aug. 28—Mrs. Irene McKee, 50, died Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at her home in Bangor. She had been ill for two years.

She was born in Bangor township Nov. 4, 1890. She was married to Archie McKee on July 30, 1912.

She leaves her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Nina Knapp, of South Haven, and a stepson, Christie, of Sacramento. Two brothers, Dewey Salnave, of Bangor, and Oliver Salnave, of Hartford, also survive him.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 o'clock at the Sherrod funeral home. Rev. Allen Robbins will officiate. Burial in Arlington Hill cemetery.

Archie V. McKee

BANGOR, Feb. 14—Archie V. McKee, 66, died at 11 a. m. Wednesday at the Hartford hospital, where he had been a patient six days.

He was born July 19, 1885 in Bangor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin C. McKee, and had lived here his entire lifetime. He was a roofing contractor.

Mr. McKee is survived by a son, Christie, of Florida; a daughter, Mrs. Nina Knapp, West Bangor, one granddaughter and one sister, Mrs. Ivy M. Oberg, Norfolk, Va. His wife, Irene, died in 1940.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p. m. Saturday at the Stafford funeral home, with the Rev. John Cermak of the Methodist church officiating. Burial will be in the Arlington Hill cemetery.
