BANGOR RESIDENT DIED SUNDAY

M. C. McKee of Bangor died at 4 o'clock Sunday morning of a complication of diseases, aged about 60 years.

Mr. McKee was for some years editor and proprietor of the Bangor Breeze until its discontinuance, about five years ago. Previous to embarking in the newspaper business he had been a tailor and also ran a greenhouse. The latter he has continued to manage up to the present time. For several terms he was justice of the peace and at the time of his death was township clerk.

He leaves a wife and three children to mourn his loss, Mrs. Iva A. Bessey of South Haven, Mrs. James Lee of Bangor, and Archie, aged 18, at home. Mrs. Bessey has been at her father's bedside since Thursday, and Mr. Bessey will also attend the funeral.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p. m. at the M. E. church in Bangor.

MRS. CLARA M'KEE, LONG A RESIDENT OF BANGOR, DIES

BANGOR, June 21—Mrs. Clara E. McKee, 79, died at 5:30 o'clock today in the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Lee of Bangor. She had been a resident of this community for the past 66 years. She had been in ill health for three years, and seriously ill since Memorial day.

Born in Monmouth, Ill., on June 12, 1856, she came to Bangor in 1869. With her late husband, who died 31 years ago, she operated a tailor shop and greenhouse here. The latter business was sold in 1905 to Arthur Davis.

Mrs. McKee had been a member of the Seventh Day Adventist church for the past 20 years. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from Sherrod's chapel. Burial will be made in Taylor cemetery.

Besides the daughter at whose home she died, Mrs. McKee leaves another daughter, Mrs. Ivah Oberg, Chicago; a son, Archie McKee, of Bangor; five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
