Solomon Tribune, March 21, 19188328
Miss Edith Lank and LeRoy Meek were married at the Presbyterian manse in Abilene on Wednesday noon, Rev. F. S. Blayney officiating. This wedding came as quite a surprise to the young couple's friends. Most of them had their suspicions that it was going to take place in the near future but they were not expecting it soon. Mrs. Meek is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. W. Lank, of our city. She has grown to womanhood in our midst and so is well known to all. She is highly respected and will liked by her many friends. Three years ago she graduated from our high school. She was an excellent student and while a member of the debating team won high honors.
Mr. Meek is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Meek, the merchant of Bonaccord. He is an industrious young man with the best of habits and stands well in his community. While a student in our schools he made many warm friends among the Solomon people.
Mr. and Mrs. Meek will make their home on a farm near Bonaccord. They will start married life with the best wishes of all.
