A very pleasant social event occurred at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Sprague on the afternoon of July 4th, when their daughter, Miss May Marie, was united in marriage to William D. Mink of this place, Rev. Van Keuren of Salamanca officiating. B. H. Sprague acted as groomsman and Miss Myrtle Rodgers as bridesmaid. Both wore white, ornamented with roses. They received many useful presents. A pleasant feature of the evening was the music rendered by W. G. Lord of this place, and the talking machine manipulated by Paul Bonhoff. The supper consisted of three courses. The rooms were beautifully decorated with ferns and roses.

William D. Mink Dies Suddenly

William D. Mink, 57, proprietor of the Mink Funeral Home at Falconer, died suddenly at his residence, 10 North Phetteplace Street, in that village this morning. He is survived by his wife, May Sprague Mink; a daughter, Mrs. Richard Kinney, and two grandchildren, Kathleen and Mary Kinney, of Jamestown, and an uncle, William Small of Little Valley.

He was engaged in the undertaking business at Falconer for 17 years, coming from Franklinville, N. Y., where he was in the same business for seven years. He was a charter member of the Chautauqua County Funeral Directors' Association and also a member of Chadakoin Lodge, I. O. O. F., of Falconer.

The remains will be at the Mink Funeral Home Friday afternoon, and funeral services will be held there on Saturday at 2 P. M.
