Mrs. John D. Sprague dies at Little Valley

Mrs. Lydia M. Sprague, mother of Marcus Sprague of Washington street, Salamanca, and wife of John D. Sprague, died Thursday at the family home near the fair grounds at Little Valley, at the age of 75 years.

Besides her husband and son, she leaves on other son, Benjamin Sprague of Norwalk, Cal.; three daughters, Mrs. George Woodward of Little Valley, Mrs. W. D. Mink of Falconer and Mrs. Sarah Steward of North Tonawanda and one sister, Mrs. Ida Bedient of Little Valley.

The funeral will be held from the Little Valley Congregational church Saturday afternoon. Rev. William Dunstan will officiate. Burial will be in the family plot in Rural cemetery, Little Valley.

JOHN D. SPRAGUE

John D. Sprague died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. George Woodard, at Little Valley at 5:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon, aged nearly 81 years. He is survived by two sons, Marcus G. Sprague of Ripley, and Benjamin H. Sprague of Norwalk, Cal.; two daughters, Mrs. W. D. Misk of Falconer and Mrs. Woodard of Little Valley; a sister, Miss Blanche Sprague of Randolph and several grandchildren. Mr. Sprague had lived in Little Valley all his life and was a member of the Little Valley Congregational church. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Middleton funeral home at Little Valley.
