LITTLE VALLEY—George B. Woodard, 71, of 207 Fourth Street, died at 8:30 A.M. today in Salamanca District Hospital following two weeks' illness.
He was born in Olean, Sept. 15, 1882. Mr. Woodard was employed by the Borden Milk Company 40 years, and until his retirement in 1947, was foreman of the fluid milk production.
He was a member of the Little Valley I.O.O.F.; Arion Lodge, F. & A.M., and the Quarter Century Club of the Borden Company.
Surviving are his wife, Hazel Sprague Woodard; three sons, Lee H., Olean; Frederick J., Bradford, Pa., and George B. , Jr., Dallas, Texas; a daughter, Mrs. Genevieve Robertson, Cuba, N.Y.; four grandchildren; a brother Claude Woodard, Hornell, and two sisters, Mrs. Harry Abell, Utica, and Miss Alice Woodard.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday from the Van Rensselaer Funeral Home, Little Valley. Burial will be in Little Valley Rural Cemetery. A Masonic service will be held at 8 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hazel L. Woodard, 82, of Little Valley died July 29, 1974 in the Cattaraugus County Infirmary at Machias. She was the mother of Mrs. Harold Robertson of Cuba.
Born Feb. 13, 1892 in Mansfield Pa., she was a daughter of John and Lydia Hall Sprague. She was preceded in death by her husband George B. Woodard, in 1953.
Mrs. Woodard was a member of the Little Valley United Church of Christ, the Greenleaf Rebekah Lodge, and the Little Valley Chapter O.E.S She had lived in Little Valley most of her life.
In addition to her daughter in Cuba she leaves three sons, Lee H. of Olean, Frederick J. of Bradford, and George of Dallas Texas; a sister, Mrs. Mae Mink of Faulkner; 7 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Services were conducted in Little Valley Thursday by the Rev. Burdette Fuller of the Little Valley U.M. Church. Burial was in Little Valley Rural Cemetery.
