Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Zajicek announce the marriage of their daughter, Laurel Luree Stambaugh, to Marvin E. Nelson on Tuesday morning, Oct. 11, at West Point, Neb. At home after Nov. 15 at Niobrara, Neb.

Mrs. Zajicek, mother of the bride, is well known in Ashland. She was the widow of George W. Stambaugh and made her home for several years with her brother-in-law, Robert J. Doom, and wife.

Marvin Nelson Called by Death

Marvin C. Nelson, 82, of 234 North Shields Street died at Poudre Valley Memorial Hospital Monday afternoon after an illness of about two weeks.

Mr. Nelson was born in Monhomme county, Neb., Nov. 5, 1882, and married the former Laurel Stambaugh Oct. 11, 1902, at West Point, Neb. They lived in Nebraska until 1929 when they moved to Fort Collins.

He was a member of the Episcopal Church in Lincoln, Neb. Mr. Nelson is survived by his widow; five children, Willard Nelson of Poudre Canyon, Jack L. Nelson of Washington, D. D., Vernon R. Nelson of Denver, Mrs. Virginia Tarry of Lincoln, Neb., and Mrs. Winifred Gall of Bethesda, Md., and nine grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Warren Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Cyril Coverley in charge. Burial will follow at Grandview cemetery.
