Miss Sue Mary Kennedy and Mr. Rolla F. Pickett were married at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. L. Kennedy south of Stewartsville, Saturday, afternoon, Sept. 30th, Rev. G. Snell of St. Joseph officiating. They will reside on the D. P. Pickett farm east of Stewartsville.

Funeral services for Rolla F. Pickett were held Wednesday morning of this week in the Summerfield Funeral Chapel in Stewartsville. The Rev. Donald Sturgess, pastor of the Plattsburg Presbyterian Church, and the Rev. Sterling Elsberry, officiated. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Joseph.
Mr. Pickett died Sunday night, Apr. 15, 1962, in the Cameron Community Hospital, at the age of 68 years. He was a lifelong resident of the Stewartsville community and was known as a prominent stock feeder and farmer. He was a veteran of World War I, a member of the Anderson-Beeching Post of the Stewartsville American legion, and a member of the Stewartsville Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Sue Mary Pickett; a daughter, Mrs. Fran C. Heidel of Birmingham, Mich.; one son, Dallas Pickett of Stewartsville; a sister, Mrs. Cleata Wallace of Hotchkiss, Colo., and four grandchildren.

STEWARTSVILLE, Mo. — Sue Mary Pickett, 92, Stewartsville, died Saturday, June 2 1990, at her home due to injuries sustained in a weather-related accident.
She was a native and lifelong area resident of Stewartsville. She graduated from Stewartsville High School.
Mrs. Pickett was a member of the Stewartsville Christian Presbyterian Church and the Women's Circle of the church.
In 1920, she married Rolla F. Pickett, who died in 1962.
Surviving: a son, Dallas of Stewartsville; a daughter, Marian P. Heidel of Silver Spring, Md.; a brother, T.L. Kennedy of Chicago, and a sister, Venita Pickett of Stewartsville.
Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday. Bram-Summerfield Funeral Home, Stewartsville. Burial, Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Joseph. Visitation: 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.
