TRUSLER-PRICE

The altar of Central Methodist Episcopal church, banked with masses of white flowers and greenery interspersed with brass candelabra in which burned white cathedral candles, was the setting for the marriage of Miss Elizabeth Price, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. A. B. Price, to Noel Trusler, son of Claude Trusler of Connersville, solemnized at 8 o'clock New Year's Eve.

The full nuptial rites of the church were read by the Rev. J. Ira Jones, pastor, who performed the double ring service.

While the guests were being escorted to their pews a program of bridal airs was played by an instrumental trio, composed of Roland Nusbaum, organiste, Miss Kathryn Gates, celliste, and Miss Ruth Scott, violiniste. Mr. Nusbaum played the bridegroom's fraternity song as the vows were being plighted.

The bride was escorted to the chancel rail on the arm of her father who gave her in marriage. her bridal gown was fashioned of ivory satin in princess style with long train, beaded panels on the skirt and bead trimming on the long sleeves. she wore veil of tulle which was trained and fastened to her coiffeur with fanshape fluting at the back and a double bandeau of beading. She carried a cluster of yellow roses and orchid sweet peas.

Little Frances McGuire, the flower girl, carried a basket of rose petals which she strew in the pathway of the bride. The basket was the same one used by the bride's mother on her wedding day.

Miss Marjery Davenport, Miss Ruth Appleton of Peru, Miss Jane Scott of New Paris, and Miss Martha Mote of Dayton, who were bridesmaids, all wore gowns of orchid satin made alike, decollete and sleeveless with streamers of the same material falling from the decolletage. Their flowers were corsages of yellow pompoms and orchid sweet peas arranged in fancy paper holders tied with silver ribbons. Each bridesmaid wore orchid satin slippers.

Charles McNaughton of Connersville acted as best man and the ushers were George Matheny, Richard Mote of Dayton, George Curry Jerman of Connersville, Thomas Perry of New Albany, Howard McClure of Union City, and Wilbur Rigor of Connersville.

The bridal party left the church for the new home of Mr. and Mrs. Trusler at 115 1/2 South Ninth street, where a reception was held. A wedding collation was served and the table was prettily arranged with the bride's bouquet and candelabra.

Mr. and Mrs. Trusler left late in the evening on a short wedding trip, the bride travelling in a green silk ensemble.

Mrs. Trusler graduated from Morton high school and Indiana university. She is now home economics instructor in Hibberd junior high school.

Mr. Trusler is an alumnus of Indiana university and is now history instructor in Morton high school.
