Mrs. Elizabeth Risser Rhodes, 88, of Fayetteville died Monday at a local hospital. Born Aug. 25, 1887 at Adel, Iowa, the daughter of Julius and Inez Scott Risser, she was a Methodist.
Survivors include her husband, C.R. (Dusty) Rhodes of the home; one son, Robert of Phoenix, Ariz.; two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth McKellar of Ashtabaula, Ohio and Mrs. Helen McKellar of Sabinas Coahuila, Mexico and eight-grandchildren.
Graveside services are to be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Osceola Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
Memorials may be made to the individuals favorite charity.

Charles Robert (Dusty) Rhodes Sr., 91, of Fayetteville, died Friday in a local hospital. Born Sept. 12, 1888, at Golden Lake, the son of Joseph W. and Clara Pulliam Rhodes, he was a retired electrical engineer with the Veterans Administration and manager of Golden Lake Plantation near Osceola for 20 years before moving to Fayetteville 30 years ago. He was a graduate of the University of Arkansas, class of 1909, and a veteran of World War I, serving as an ensign in the Navy. He had over 2,100 hours of volunteer work at the VA hospital in Fayetteville.
Surviving are one son, Charles R. Rhodes J. of Phoenix, Ariz; two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth R. McKellar of Ashtabula, Ohio, and Mrs. Helen R. McKellar of Manitou Springs, Colo.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Cremation will be Monday with a memorial service to be held Friday at Osceola. Local arrangements were by Moore's Chapel.
