A PRETTILY APPOINTED military wedding was solemnized at 5 o'clock yesterday at Plymouth Congregational church, when Miss Mildred Morse became the bride of Lieut. Harvard Seldon Rockwell of Duluth.
Cybotium ferns, white chrysanthemums and cathedral candles formed the decorations at the altar. The Rev. Harry P. Dewey, pastor, read the service before a gathering of several hundred relatives and friends of the bride and bridegroom.
Hamlin H. Hung played a program of nuptial music before the ceremony and Bridal Chorus from "Logengrin" and Mendelssohn's wedding march for the processional and recessional.
The ushers, who were the first of the bridal party to enter, included the bridegroom's brother-in-law, Mr. Frank M. Warren; his brother, Mr. James Rockwell of Fargo; Mr. Horace Gray and a brother of the bride, Corp. Guilford Alden Morse who is stationed at the Edgewood arsenal, Maryland. Lieut. Willard A. Morse, the bride's brother, stationed at Atlanta, Ga., in the quartermaster's department, was the best man.
The bride's only attendant, her small sister, Priscilla Alden Morse, immediately preceded her. She wore a pink taffeta frock with white frills and a pink hat. Her little formal bouquet was of pink mousaline and Cecil Bruner roses in a frill f pink maline.
The bride, who entered with her father, was gowned in bridal satin with a court train of tulle embroidered in a rose design of beads and banded with satin. The bodice was of chiffon and Chantilly lace with long tulle sleeves and the simple satin skirt was draped. Her tulle veil was held in back with a garniture of real lace and a spray of orange blossoms and she held a bouquet of lilies of the valley and white orchids.
A few close friends and relatives were entertained at the reception which followed the ceremony in the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willard W. Morse, 1655 Twenty-sixth street west. The bride's parents received with the bride and bridegroom The Misses Dorothy Shearer and Ruth Webster assisted. The living room was banked in Christmas greens and tall vases of pink chrysanthemums. The sun parlor was decorated with the evergreens while the dining room was appointed entirely in white with showers of white Killarney roses.
Lieutenant and Mrs. Rockwell will go to New York on their wedding trip and will be at home at 2 Harvest road, Baltimore. The bridegroom is at Edgewood with the Chemical battalion of the United States Gas Warfare section.
The bride has been secretary for the past year of the local women's committee, Council of National Defense. She attended Smith college and later the University of Minnesota, where she was graduated in the class of 1914. She belongs to Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. Lieutenant Rockwell was graduated from the university engineering department in the class of 1914. He is a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity.

Back in Minneapolis to reside after three years in Ohio, are Mr. and Mrs. Harvard S. Rockwell, who last year sold their home on Longview Terrace thinking they wouldn't return to Minneapolis.
But here they are back again and looking for a house to rent. They are temporarily at the home of Mrs. Rockwell's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willard W. Morse, 1635 W. Twnety-sixth street, after a week-end with her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Frank M. Warren, 3427 Irving avenue S.
Mr. and Mrs. Morse are on their annual jaunt to Winter Park Fla., where they have spent the cold weather for many season, and will be home in about a month.
Cornelia Rockwell, daughter of the Rockwells, is in Paris with the office of strategic service, having gone across last August.
Rowena Rockwell, another daughter, will be graduated in June from the Prince school, the salesmanship and merchandising school of Simmons college, Boston, and the youngest daughter, Jean Rockwell, is a freshman at Stephens college, Columbia, Mo.

Memorial services for Harvard S. Rockwell, 72, 2626 Park Av., who died Friday, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Plymouth Congregational Church chapel, with private burial.
Mr. Rockwell was born in Canada, moved to Duluth, Minn., in 1902 and to Minneapolis in 1909. He was graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1914. He was a lieutenant in the chemical warfare service in World War I and in the Austin engineering service in Ohio and Michigan in World War II. Mr. Rockwell established the Rockwell Engineering Company in Minneapolis in 1945, which specialized in grain elevator design. He was a member of the Plymouth Congregational Society and was for several years superintendent of the senior Sunday school. He was a member of Gray Friars, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Engineers Club and Lafayette Club. He is listed in Who's Who of Engineering.
Survivors include his widow, Mildred Morse, and three daughters, Mrs. Charles O'Neill, Westport, Conn., Mrs. William Langworthy, Marblehead, Mass., and Mrs. William Anderson, Los Angeles, Calif.
Memorials to Plymouth Congregational Church are preferred.

She was the widow of Harvard S. Rockwell, owner of H. S. Rockwell Co.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Charles O'Neill, Geens Farms, Conn., Mrs. William Langworthy, Marbelhead, Mass., and Mrs. William Anderson, Los Angeles, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. H. M. Richardson, Minneapolis, and two brothers Willard A. and Guilford A. Morse, both of Minneapolis.
Memorials to the church are preferred.
